We screen for Lyme disease and its associated co-infections.

The bacteria that is thought to cause Lyme disease, as well as its associated Co-infections, have become some of the most prevalent infections throughout the East coast of the United States. However, these infections are now appearing elsewhere in the USA, as well as the rest of the world.

Often times, Lyme disease and its associated co-infections, tend to go undiagnosed. When this happens, many times people are misdiagnosed as having some other illness. This can be very frustrating to anyone who has had this experience. And, even worse, it wastes a lot of time, which could have been used to start proper treatment.

Getting properly tested is a start in helping to determine whether an individual has one or more of these infections. However, most of the standard laboratories tend to use tests that lack sensitivity to their presence. This is why we use specialized laboratories, such as IgeneX and Galaxy Diagnostics, to help better determine the presence of these infections.
